When authors, Suzanne Selfors and Walker Ranson, bought Liberty Bay Books in Poulsbo, WA, they began to dream about creating a children's literature festival for Kitsap County. With the help of authors, illustrators, librarians, teachers, community volunteers and donors, the inaugural 2024 festival was a huge success! So now, work is underway to bring you and your family the 2025 festival - in other words - THE BEST DAY EVER!

The festival is comprised of two days.

Friday, Nov 14 is School Visit Day, when many of our authors make visits to our local schools.

Saturday, Nov 15 is Festival Day.
