Set in the picturesque town of Poulsbo, WA (also known as Little Norway), our festival brings young readers, authors and illustrators together in a joyful celebration of stories and books. And our School Visit Day (the Friday before the festival) provides free author visits and free books to schools throughout Kitsap County.

Founded by children's author and bookstore owner, Suzanne Selfors, the festival is made possible by an amazing team of volunteers and donors.

Poulsbo Kids' Book Festival has been granted 501(c)(3) status. We are also classified
as a Public Charity by the IRS, Code 509(a)(2),which means that all donations are fully
tax deductible under IRC Section 170.
